No. 5 in our Top 10: Kongregate
Badges, chat and a classic browser archive.
Our verdict
Kongregate turned browser play into something you could collect, with badges and points stacking up on your profile. Its archive of idle, RPG and strategy titles remains large, though the site design leans on its older habits.
What works
- Achievement badges reward return visits
- Big back catalogue of browser classics
- Chat and forums around many games
What to know
- Layout feels dated in places
- Best features need an account
