No. 4 in our Top 10: Newgrounds
A veteran community of games, art and animation.
Our verdict
Newgrounds has hosted user-made games and cartoons since the early web and still feels like a creator hangout. Members vote on submissions, review each other's work and follow artists. Content carries ratings, so younger players need a filtered view.
What works
- Deep archive of creator-made games
- Lively voting, reviews and forums
- Games sit alongside animation, art and music
