Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The controller of personal data processed through playthedream.com is Coast Hotels and Casinos, Inc., 4500 West Tropicana Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89103, United States. For any privacy matter, write to privacy@playthedream.com.
2. What we collect

3. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the Site and your account — performance of a contract.
- Billing Premium — performance of a contract and legal obligations (tax and accounting).
- Security, fraud prevention and server logs — our legitimate interest in keeping the Site safe.
- Analytics — your consent.
- Personalised or measured advertising — your consent.
- Answering your messages and correction requests — our legitimate interest in responding to readers.
4. Recipients
We share personal data only with service providers that process it for us under contract, and with authorities where the law requires. Today no analytics or advertising service is active on the Site. When they are enabled, they will be limited to the following, and this list will be updated before any of them goes live:
- Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited — Google Ad Manager and Google AdSense (advertising, only with consent).
- Payment processor — to be named here before Premium opens.
- Hosting and email providers — infrastructure that stores and delivers the Site and our mail.
- Licensed live-data provider — receives no personal data about you.
No one pays us for personal information, and we never offer it for sale. Under California law, switching on advertising cookies could amount to "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising; you can refuse it at any time, see section 8.
5. Data leaving Europe
PlayTheDream is run from Nevada. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, your data will be transferred to the US. We rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where a recipient is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK addendum where relevant).
6. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is open and 30 days after closure.
- Payment and invoicing records: 7 years, for tax law.
- Correspondence: 2 years after the conversation ends.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Consent records: as long as the choice is in force, plus 12 months.
7. Your rights (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
GDPR gives you six levers over what PlayTheDream holds about you: obtain it, amend it, wipe it, freeze its use, move it elsewhere as a structured file, or contest any use we base on legitimate interests. Consent-based processing stops whenever you switch it off in ; switching off does not undo processing that already happened. Your national data regulator also accepts complaints.
8. Your rights (California and other US states)
California law (the CCPA, as updated by the CPRA) lets residents of that state request to know what personal information we hold, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing and limit the use of sensitive information. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. To opt out of sharing, choose "Reject all" or switch off Advertising in Cookie settings; we also honour Global Privacy Control signals. Exercising a right will not cost you extra or downgrade your service. Residents of other states with comparable privacy laws can make the same requests.
Send requests to privacy@playthedream.com. We will verify your identity by email and reply within 30 days (45 days under California law, extendable where permitted). Someone you have authorised in writing can make the request on your behalf.
9. Children
PlayTheDream is written for adult sports followers. Any data we find has come from someone younger than 13 (or 16 in the EEA and UK) is erased; please flag such cases to the privacy address below.
10. Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and data minimisation. Passwords will be stored only in hashed form.
11. Changes
Revisions appear here with a new version date. Account holders get an email about anything significant.
