Terms of Use
1. Who we are
These Terms of Use govern your use of playthedream.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by Coast Hotels and Casinos, Inc., 4500 West Tropicana Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89103, United States ("we", "us"). Using the Site means accepting these terms; anyone unwilling to accept them should stop using it.
2. The service
The Site provides sports and esports news, live scores, match statistics, tables, brackets and related editorial content, free of charge, together with an optional paid Premium subscription. Results, tables and fixtures are compiled from official competition sources as described on the Data Sources page.
3. Age requirements
PlayTheDream is meant for adults and for young people above the minimum age of digital consent in their country. You must not use it if you are under 13, or under 16 for residents of the EEA or the UK. Accounts and Premium subscriptions are available only to people aged 18 or over.
4. Accounts
When accounts open, you will be responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. If you suspect someone else has signed in as you, write to contact@playthedream.com straight away. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
5. Premium subscription
5.1 Price and billing
Premium is offered monthly or annually at the price shown on the Premium page at the time you subscribe, including any applicable sales tax or VAT. You will be charged at the start of each billing period through our payment processor.
5.2 Automatic renewal
Your plan rolls over into a new billing period on its own, at the price then in force, for as long as it stays active. A price rise reaches existing subscribers only after a month's written notice by email, which leaves time to cancel first. Annual plans also get a reminder a week ahead of each renewal date.
5.3 Cancellation
Cancel whenever you like, in account settings or by writing to contact@playthedream.com. No further charge is taken after that, and Premium stays switched on through the last day already covered by your payment.
5.4 Refunds
If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Elsewhere, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. After that, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or where the Premium service was materially unavailable for a significant part of a billing period.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, harvest or systematically download scores, statistics or content from the Site, whether manually or by automated means;
- republish or redistribute Site data commercially;
- interfere with the Site's security or operation, or attempt to access parts of it you are not authorised to use;
- use the Site in breach of any law, or to harass or impersonate others.
7. Ownership and data credits
We, or those who license material to us, own the articles, graphics, layout and code of PlayTheDream. Live data, once licensed, is supplied by a third-party provider and remains its property; it is shown under licence and with the attribution set out on the Data Sources page. Names of competitions, teams and games are used to identify them only. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with attribution.
8. Accuracy of live data
Live scores and statistics are delivered as events happen and may be delayed, incomplete or later corrected. They are provided for information only. We do not warrant that any score, time, statistic or table is accurate, complete or current at any given moment, and you should not rely on them for any decision with financial or legal consequences.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
PlayTheDream comes without guarantees beyond those stated here: you get the service in its current state, whenever it happens to be up. So far as the law allows, we give no implied promise that it is merchantable, suitable for any specific purpose or free of third-party rights.
10. Limitation of liability
Unless a statute says otherwise, PlayTheDream carries no responsibility for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, revenue or reputation, that follows from using PlayTheDream. For any single claim about the Site, our total responsibility is capped at whatever you paid us during the year before the claim arose, or USD 50 for readers who have paid nothing. Liability the law does not let us restrict, and your consumer rights under statute, remain untouched.
11. Third-party links
Pages we point to outside playthedream.com belong to their own operators, who answer for their content and their data handling.
12. Governing law and disputes
Nevada law, without its conflict-of-law rules, applies to these terms. Courts located in Clark County, Nevada have jurisdiction over disputes, except that consumers resident elsewhere keep any right to bring proceedings in their home courts and the protection of mandatory local law.
13. Changes
These terms will change from time to time. Anything material is flagged on PlayTheDream, and subscribers hear about it by email a month before it takes effect. The version date at the top tells you which text applies.
