Matchday Desk

Football coverage, live match centres and league tables

About the desk

The Matchday Desk runs the football side of PlayTheDream: the live match centres, the league tables and the explainers that sit behind them. Its editors watch the feed during every round we cover and are the people who decide when an incident in a match timeline needs a second look before it stays on the page.

Desk editors write the football explainers on this site and review any football correction request before it is answered.

Expertise

  • League formats and tiebreak rules
  • Reading match statistics
  • Officiating and timekeeping

Contact the desk through editor@playthedream.com. The desk has no separate social media accounts.
